Lara is a writer, 3D modeler and visual/web artist, with work ranging from multimedia projects, short films and (music) video’s to 3D models and animations for games, films and websites. I feel her work perfectly encapsulates her eagerness to create things purely so that they can exist and be meaningful to people. Lara has helped shape the visual identity for my music more than a couple of times, providing 3D models for the cover art of 'Music for the Information Age' and its singles, and creating the music video’s for 'Fantasy[popstar]', 'Sine Song' and 'Webcrawler'. Her influence hasn’t only been material though, since she’s introduced me to a lot of media and music (i.e. Nine Inch Nails, Deftones, Sneaker Pimps etc.) just through her passion for it alone. Lara is also passionately inspired by 90’s/2000’s cult media, PS1/PC games, early internet culture and anything archaic and abrasive. She has since graduated Image and Media Technology at the HKU in Utrecht, with a very impressive graduation project!!
